Access to Information policy.

PAIA (Promotion of Access to Information Act) was passed into law to give effect to the constitutional right of access to information that is held by a private or public body and that is required for the exercise or protection of any rights. Topou is a private body as defined in PAIA. Topou is bound by PAIA and will process any request made in terms thereof.

Any person who wishes to be given access to information that held by Topou must follow the procedure set out below.

  • Make a request for the information on the designated form as provided by Topou

  • Pay the ancillary fees associated with the Access to information request and provide proof of payment

  • Allow Topou up to 30 days to process the request

  • Receive formal correspondence form Topou outline the access or the denial to the request.
